Time to begin manifesting Unity Consciousness on Earth!

As the cosmic summer begins to draw to a close, we have one more exciting event happening this weekend, the Conscious Convergence, which draws individuals together to set our conscious intention for creating Unity Consciousness as the new norm for the collective on Earth. This event begins today, the 17th, and continues until the 18th.

Before we dive into this new topic, let’s first quickly review some of the other events that took place this summer, that we’re all likely still feeling the effects of.

A planetary alignment recently took place between the New Moons of June and July, which cruxed at the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on June 26th, and culminated at the New Moon/Solar Eclipse on July 11th. This one-month period was one of the most intensely transformational times during what we’ve been calling the “cosmic summer” of 2010.

Many of us noticed drastic changes in our lives during this time, and are still feeling the effects of this alignment. Due to the array of new energies streaming in at the time, we were being guided through intense periods of release and transmutation. It became more clear during this time that old patterns and structures were beginning to dismantle, both in our own lives and in the collective society. That which no longer serves us is being removed from our lives. This can be rather uncomfortable for many, as it requires total detachment from outcomes and expectations in our lives. We had to take the ride as it came, without trying to cling to our old lives or patterns.

The ride from this alignment is not quite over yet. The planets are slowly moving out of their cross formation, but the effects will still be felt until about the first week of August, give or take a few days. At August 7th, a cardinal opposition will occur causing further transformation, yet at a much slower pace. It will be different for each of us, as we each have different life transitions going on at this time. We do anticipate though that by the end of August, things will have settled down considerably, as we all begin integrating these new energies and patterns into our lives.

As we’re working with the energies of the alignment, we’ll begin another period of transition that lasts from today, the 17th, until March 9th, 2011. This period is about building and maintaining our intentions to establish Unity Consciousness on the planet. Fortunately, this 8 month period will give us more time and comfort in the transition. Certainly we’ll experience further shifts in our lives and especially in our paradigms, but we don’t anticipate them being as drastic or as hurried as what happened this summer.

The cosmic summer, and the Convergence today is about preparing for this time to come, and about anchoring the intention to create it.

You’ve probably heard about the Harmonic Convergence back in 1987. On this date, individuals gathered together to express the intention of creating an age of light on this planet.

We’ve all heard about the New Age, the age of peace, enlightenment, or whatever you’d like to call it. We certainly believe this is what’s in store for the planet in the years to come- indeed we’re already creating it! However it’s necessary for each of us to consciously work toward that goal, and on days like today, express our intention and will to make it happen.

The mainstream view of 2012 and the changes happening on the planet vary greatly, but most of the time, the underlying message is that these things will happen to us, whether we like it or not. People either believe nothing will happen, that the world will come to an end, or that an age of peace will dawn upon us. However most people don’t see that it is our conscious choice, as individuals and as a collective, as to what outcome will befall us.

Indeed, as the planet continues moving into higher frequency territory in the Universe, we are more and more empowered as Creators to bring our envisioned reality into being. We are each creating our own parallel Earth based on our beliefs and intentions, and our experiences of this shift in consciousness and societal structures will mirror those intentions. It’s up to us as individuals to create the Heaven on Earth (or again, whatever you’d like to call it), that we wish to see.

There are infinite parallel Earths- as many scenarios as we could imagine. We are the ones imagining them! It’s up to you what happens now, in 2012, and especially beyond. Now is the time to begin setting your intentions for your new life and reality as you choose to see it.

There will certainly be some changes during this time. As we delve deeper into creating our own personal Earth, we may find this new reality doesn’t include everything from the old one. Old friends may fall away and new ones may take their place. An old career may no longer serve you, or you may find yourself moving to a new location. We’re being prepared for our new roles, and this has been happening since the beginning of this year. For some, it may continue into next year or beyond. As our plans continue to change, so will our surroundings, to best fit our needs at the time. Do remember though that no matter what happens, we are where we need to be, doing what we need to be doing. The people in our lives (or not in our lives) are there or not there for a reason.

Even though Life may seem crazy at times, even to unprecedented extremes, don’t panic. Try to flow with the changes as best you can. Many of us have found that after the most intense periods of loss and upset, something new came into our lives that we were not expecting. Often the most vibrant rainbow appears after the storm, or the brightest dawn after the darkest night.

This year, 2010 has been about the preparation for these changes in our lives. With all the new releases and downloads we’ve been experiencing, we’re ready (or will be soon) to step into our new roles. A great time to start taking steps on our new plans is the end of July, when astrologically we move into Leo, the fiery sign of action. This happens on July 23rd, just about a week from now. So if you’re ready, start making those plans and preparing to put them into action. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to get started, this may be it! Follow your intuition, and look to your individual astrology to see if there’s an even more ideal time within the month of Leo coming up.

But let’s return to today, the Conscious Convergence. Like the Harmonic Convergence of 1987, today is about the conscious intent of individuals and the collective to create a new reality for the Earth.

The Mayan Calendar does not predict a doomsday or a heaven exactly. It describes a time of transition, and empowers individuals to become part of that transition. They saw this period of history written in the stars, as all things are, and shared their knowledge with us. And in fact, even more interesting, it is not just one calendar that is ending, it is nine! Nine periods of time, called waves by Dr. Carl Johan Calleman, a noted Mayan Calendar scholar. It is Calleman that brought this Convergence, as well as the one in May 2010 to light. His message has been to inform the lightworkers and starseeds of the Earth of these special days in which we may work together to begin anchoring these new energies.

The pyramid diagram from one of Calleman’s articles portrays the development of consciousness from the most basic and individual to the most cosmic and unified. As we progress through these stages, the process hastens exponentially. We are nearing the end now, which is why these times have been so filled with rapid change.

As you can see, the pre-9th wave begins today. Today is the day to set our intentions, individually and globally, for achieving Unity Consciousness. Over the course of the next 8 months, we’ll begin grounding that intention into the Earth.

So what exactly is Unity Consciousness? It’s not about losing individuality and being absorbed into the collective. It’s actually quite the opposite- it’s being part of a world in which individuality can be more fully expressed than ever before, being completely ourselves and finding total acceptance and tolerance of ourselves from within and without. We will find ourselves resonating with individuals most similar to us, able to collaborate and co-create more effectively than ever. We will also be conscious of the underlying Unity that connects all of us, no matter our differences. This is a vision of the peaceful society we must begin to create.

Ideally, to recreate the Tree of Life, we would like some people to gather and perform ceremonies at both the north and south poles, but since this does not seem practicable, the North and South will be represented by gatherings in Scandinavia and South Africa, respectively. To recreate the global Tree of Life, these gatherings will be complemented with gatherings on the equatorial plane–the West in Guatemala and in Singapore/Bali in the East. In each of these directions, representatives of cultural traditions to who still keep to the sacredness of the four directions, and have remained a living reality, will be participating (Sami in the North, Chinese/Hindu in the East, Bushmen in the South and Mayan in the West).

Today is a wonderful day to celebrate your individual approach to spirituality. Gather with a group if you can, or have a private ceremony of your own. Use your own method of creating sacred space, call in the energies or beings you choose to work with, and set your intentions for Unity in the way that works best for you. You may want to work with crystals, music, meditation practices, instruments, or whatever you use to alter your consciousness. Celebrate your spiritual path and communicate your intentions to the collective in any way you wish. This is about YOU and your personal gifts and offerings to the greater society.

Tomorrow morning, at 7AM Pacific time or 10AM Eastern, we’ll be able to connect our energies with gatherings happening all over the world. The intention for these gatherings is to rebirth the Global Tree of Life. How wonderful that we can participate in this global ceremony! Tomorrow morning, let’s shift our focus to this particular intention, of re-establishing our connection with the creative life force of Earth, Gaia, Terra Firma, Pacha Mama.

The news of this Convergence and these gatherings has spread like wildfire over the internet. No doubt thousands and thousands will be participating, each in their very own way. If you can, share this information with your friends or anyone that you think might like to participate. It’s up to us to create the critical mass needed, to make our collective voices heard at this time.

Let our message to the cosmos be clear: The people of Earth want Unity!
